Overview
About this project
The R4Q Application Uplift Project began in 2021 with a goal to uplift key functions in the existing R4Q Application to better support regulatory officers in their day-to-day activities. The R4Q App is a critical tool that enables regulatory officers to visit Queensland’s early childhood education and care (ECEC) services, collect evidence, and make recommendations/decisions about the quality and compliance of services. With the statewide release of the uplifted R4Q App in October 2022, the project concluded and the ‘classic’ App was decommissioned later that year.
About the App
The uplifted R4Q App is an integrated mobile (iPad) application developed using .NET MAUI.
The new app has been redesigned to be user-friendly, intuitive and, most importantly, reliable. The mobile app has an “off-line first” approach ensuring data is stored safely on the device,
then synced to the cloud when network connectivity returns.
